Full Process After Purchasing a Gas Mass Flow Controller

1. Payment and Delivery Timeline

Payment term: 100% T/T (telegraphic transfer).
Gas mass flow controller lead time: 3–4 weeks after payment is received.
Shipping: approximately 1 week by air freight.

Expedited service: If you require faster delivery, please feel free to contact our sales manager – we will charge a small expedited fee.

2. Customization Communication

Please share all gas mass flow controller details (e.g., plug type, local voltage, and other custom requirements) with our sales team before the sale or right after payment so we can schedule production accurately.

3. Manufacturing

The sales team places the order (including custom plug specifications) into the production department.
Production takes place in a Class 1000 cleanroom, with operators wearing cleanroom suits.
The cleanroom implements strict control over particulates, temperature, humidity, and static electricity, effectively isolating dust contamination. This prevents precision components (such as sensors and gas flow channels) from measurement deviations caused by particle adhesion or environmental fluctuations, thereby ensuring consistent measurement accuracy and long-term reliability from the manufacturing stage.

4. Testing and Calibration

After production, each unit is tested in our in-house Reliability Laboratory, which is equipped with environmental test chambers, ESD simulators, high-voltage test platforms, salt spray test equipment, and other facilities. These validate and enhance the instrument’s environmental adaptability, measurement stability, and long-term reliability under real-world conditions, ensuring accurate operation even in extreme working environments.

Our measurement references are traceable to national/international standards. We employ automated, highly repeatable precision measurement and calibration processes to systematically eliminate inherent instrument errors (e.g., zero drift, non-linearity, sensitivity deviations), ensuring that output values maintain high consistency with true physical quantities.

Factory Calibration: All products undergo full calibration before shipment. In most cases, end users do not need to perform additional calibration; they can manually perform routine zero-point maintenance using the one-touch zeroing function on the touchscreen.

Free Calibration During Warranty Period: If you do require calibration, we will provide one free calibration service within the one-year warranty period, but the shipping cost will be borne by the user.

5. Documentation and Packaging

After calibration, the production team takes final product photos, calibration videos, and packaging videos, and the sales manager sends them to the customer.

Packaging method:

The gas mass flow controller is first vacuum-sealed and placed in a dark blue cardboard box.

Then, we place this box inside a outer cardboard box, which we wrap in shrink wrap. We affix product and customer information to the box for easy customer verification.

Final shipping carton dimensions for a single product: 25×25×10 cm; Single product weight: approximately 2 kg.

6. Logistics and Customs Clearance

Once packed, the shipment is handed over to the freight forwarder. After the forwarder issues a tracking number, the sales manager will promptly provide it to the customer for shipment tracking. The sales team also monitors the transit status.

Trade term: DAP (Delivered at Place). Customs duties and import procedures vary by country and are the responsibility of the buyer.

7. After-Sales Support and Warranty

If you have any problems, please take photos of the package upon receipt gas mass flow controller and send them to our sales manager for resolution. Please feel free to contact her at any time(email: Alexa@biosflows.com).

Warranty period: 1 year. For any quality issues caused by the product itself, we offer free repair or replacement. Throughout the year, we will also regularly follow up on any issues encountered during product use or if any assistance is needed.

We advise customers not to remove the “WARRANTY VOID IF LABEL REMOVED” label from the back of the gas mass flow controller, and not to disassemble or modify the product without authorization. We will not cover such actions under our warranty.
